It's about 15 hours to go through it but the last third of the game involves a lot of reuse of assets and it felt like they really dragged the whole thing out a good five hours too long.. A++ game, being a huge deck builder board game fan and also playing slay the spire it's easy to like these kind of games.The strategy in the game is quick to learn and fun to play around with. I don't want to spoil anything but the combat gets pretty interesting and becomes more then just playing your strongest card.-graphics 10/10-story 4/10 (very cliche)-sound 9/10 (battle music is perfect, the explore music doesn't quite fit the atmosphere)-dialogue 3/10 (unless you under the age of 15... its very dry and easily geared towards kids)-difficulty ?/10 (hard to say, I'm playing the hardest difficulty and have yet to have a problem, though I'm not sure if its because I'm a veteran of the genre or its just easy)-strategy potential 7.5/10 (there are limitations to what you can do in a turn but its fun to manipulate. You also get 2 free re-draws a turn which is a nice touch)-ambience 10/10 (100% feels, and looks like it belongs in the steam world universe)all in all a solid card rpg that should keep you entertained.if you like card rpgs (slay the spire etc you will like this)if you're looking for a grindy depthfest that will keep your brain boner hard, this might not do it for you)if you're an average person yeah this will be a good time.. I seldom buy games at their release, but games by Image & form are an exception.This i totally different from their earlier titles in terms of game mechanic, being a card driven JRPG. But I think they pulled this one off aswell, and I am confident to say that most people that are into this genre will like this game.I believe I am half-way into the game, and I really enjoy it so far! But there are cons for sure. This is my personal short pros and cons:Pros:- Very enjoyable fights and rpg-elements- Great in-fight interface- Addictive and rewarding gameplay- Good music- Nice gfx overall- Runs on low specs- Relaxing and lightCons:- Mediocre story, even though it is funny from time to time, it doesn't leave an impression at all - Semi-boring world (I like all other steamworld atmospheres for sure, but this one is kind of bland)- Quite bad controls while moving the character outside of fightsAll in all a great game when you just want to play relaxing, fun and rewarding game.Just about 8\/10. A very good game.
